Some AI coding agents require expensive subscriptions to use after installation:
- Claude Code: Requires Claude Max ($200/mo)
- Codex CLI: Requires ChatGPT Pro ($200/mo)
- Gemini CLI: Requires Gemini Advanced (~$20/mo)
You don't need all of them! Start with one agent (Claude Code is recommended) and add others later if you want different AI perspectives.
