Agent Flywheel

Step 4 Help

Common Issues

Which VPS plan should I pick?
Use the plan calculator on this step. For most people, start with a 64GB RAM / 16 vCPU Contabo or OVH plan; use 48GB only for smaller swarms, and choose a larger host or multiple hosts for 25+ heavy agents.
The calculator says my target is undersized
Lower the agent count, choose a lighter workload, rent a larger server, or split agents across multiple VPS hosts. Avoid launching a large heavy swarm on a 48GB or 64GB single host.

Tips

  • Prices are approximate; RAM, vCPU, storage, and region availability matter more than a specific monthly number.
  • The provider cards below link to the Contabo and OVH signup guidance already used by the wizard.

Before you sign up

Credit card required: Both providers require a valid credit card for signup. Prepaid cards may not work.

Email verification: You'll need to verify your email address. Check your spam folder if you don't see the verification email.

Some providers (especially Contabo) may require additional identity verification for new accounts. This usually takes a few minutes but can occasionally take up to 24 hours.

No affiliate deals, just honest recommendations

I'm Jeffrey Emanuel, and I have zero financial relationship with Contabo, OVH, or any cloud provider. No affiliate links, no kickbacks, no sponsored content. I recommend these because I use them myself. They offer beefy machines (48GB+ RAM) at a fraction of what AWS, GCP, or Azure charge. On those big providers, equivalent specs would cost 3-5× more.

Using a different provider?

Any provider with an , access, and a first-login root password or root console works. Choose password authentication when it is offered; ACFS sets up your SSH key after the first install.
